Question for the AA brain trust - potentially a stupid one, I realise - does the resistance of your interconnect from TT to phono stage count towards your resistance loading calculation for an MC cartridge in the same way that capacitance would for an MM cartridge? Intuitively but unknowledgeably, I can’t see how the answer would be no, but I’ve never seen it discussed, hence the question.
This is not because I think anything is amiss, but I was thinking about having a re jig of the layout which would allow me to use shorter cables but they’re 75ohm which is fine as a general interconnect, but not sure if the resistance is a factor for a TT interconnect.
Cheers Dan

The 75 ohm description is only applicable at radio frequencies and is the 'impedance' of the cable.
The resistance of the cable is likely to be a few tenths of an ohm, which is applicable to audio frequencies, so is negligible.
