If and its a big if, i decide to upgrade the signal caps/resisitors in my amp could anyone tell me from the photo what ones are in the signal path,i think from memory the yellow caps are MKP . Large black ones are Kemet.

It's more than likely that it is the yellow ones in the signal path.
Can't be certain just from that photograph, some could be decoupling depending on the circuit.
What amp is it? Is there a circuit available on line?

its a John Wood KT88 Alan,i doubt if there's a circuit diagram for it,its ultra linear i believe,i just wondered if by using better tolarance parts id gain a small improvement.

Assuming the tolerance is 10% with the current components (not unreasonable) then closer tolerance components will make absolutely no difference.
The biggest differences will be through different valves, particularly the small signal valves, or possibly changes to the biasing of the small signal valves, or even changes to the basic circuit.
Depend whether the pase splitter stage is a concertina or long tailed pair.
