So to see what all the fuss was about (loud fuss coming from a big person mostly), I decided to give these a go.
SAEC SL 1980 Triple C Interconnects
Made a 1m pair up a week or so ago actually but had this 0.7m length left over and was waiting for the same plugs to arrive which I have on the other pair.
As Oli has explained you do have to cut the plugs oof and replace them as the standard ones are basic.
Well there is nothing more to say other than they are the best IC's I've ever heard anywhere at any price.
Won't bore you with subjective descriptions but I'll just say this, the removal of grain I didn't even realise was there is not subtle. I haven't changed anything else (although since this I have added some some SAEC Triple C speaker cable . . . more on that in another post . . ) but I have never heard such a difference with a single cable change. Simple as that.
