I was really looking forward to watching this. A 3 part documentary of the most difficult period of the Bands existence.
Also a period where all three creative Beatles came into rehearsals with future classics such as Martha My Dear, Gimmie some truth, Long and winding road, let it be, Jealous Guy and particularly some gems from Harrison, all partly formed as an idea.
However, in part one I found it really hard, almost uncomfortable, actually watching them force these ideas into some kind of song within an environment that was obviously fractured, on the verge implosion, being pushed into making TV schedules and continually "persuaded" to try and play in Tripoli by Lyndsay-Hogg.
In fact, the first part left me feeling quite depressed.
Part two so far (thankfully) has become more enjoyable since Billy Preston joined the fray. I hadn't realised that he effectively saved that entire session, and truth be told, the songs I've loved for 30odd years wouldn't be what they are without him. I wasn't aware that Billy had two LPs out on the Apple label either, so I'll have to download those at some point.
All in all, I am enjoying the footage and those that have criticized Peter Jackson for painting a more positive picture of that period are quite clearly wrong.

Signed up to Disney plus last night. Looking forward to actually having some time to watch this. I’m also quite impressed by one or two of the other films available that’ll make finding daft Christmas stuff to watch.

bi means two, tri means three. Biopsy......seemed a strange anomaly ...then this meaning: a film dramatizing the life of a particular person, typically a public or historical figure Seems I'm wrong in many multiple ways lol

that's biography, bio in biopsy is short for biological I think. Biopsy is taking a sample of skin or something.
Jackson's film is a Rockumentary. Technically he should appear in it talking to camera and wearing a 'USS Nimitz' baseball cap but I bet he doesn't.

A 'USS Coral Sea' cap would also be acceptable:

Keep reading about this in various places and now I really want to see it even though I'm not much of a Beatles' fan. Don't hate them or nothing just not one of those bands that does it for me.
Seems to be talk of a blu-ray of it coming out, not sure when that will be though. '

Seeing tracks like Get Back just develop in his mind as he's thrashing away, searching for any idea to form was truly amazing.

Love it.
Someone should do a Steely Dan set. I'd buy that even though I never play cards anymore.

God.. I see what you mean. Not exactly a bundle of laughs and actually quite gruelling in parts. At the same time it’s totally fascinating. Glad to hear it gets happier !
