Good grief. As far as attempted scams go, that's just a mess. I don't know what depresses me more about the human race, that it includes nefarious f***ers like that who try and ensnare some poor unsuspecting sap and rob them blind, or that it includes people so stupid that they might actually fall for something like that.

A 'coveted' born again Christian.

There used to be a site run by some bloke who specialised in winding these scammers up, having them do all sorts of nonsense in the hope of getting free money, and he'd have them take pics of it and send them to him, which he'd then post on his site.
Can't remember what it's called though or I'd post a link.
Problem these people have is they are pretty skint - living in Sh#t on a dollar a day - so you can't really blame them for having a punt.

I don't know, that name doesn't ring any bells.
There was one where he had recruited a load of them into his own 'church' and he had them building pyramids, drawing pictures and writing letters, all on the promise that they would receive a grant to help them spread the word.
A bit cruel really as you could see from the pictures that they were on the bones of their arses and would do pretty much anything if they thought they could get a couple of bob from it.
The way I see it anyone living their cushy (by comparison) Western life and who is greedy enough and daft enough to get mugged off by these people deserves it. I say good luck to them.
