Well looky what we have here! A rather well cared for Radford belonging to a friend of mine. Off to repair with our very own Valve Guru Mr Firebottle. I'll give it the once over when it's done and stick a few words up 👍  |

I'm kinda jealous you've got your hands on one of them Biggy I am looking forward to giving it a whirl, but it needs servicing first. Got a hum on one channel. What is it with valve amps and bloody hum. |

I never heard that Croft, but I don't think the Radford will disappoint. It's incredibly listenable. I'm interested to see what you think of it once Alan's sorted it. Been a few years since I last heard one. |

It's incredibly listenable. I'm interested to see what you think of it once Alan's sorted it. Been a few years since I last heard one. That Croft was Mega. Best valve amplifier I have heard, anywhere. It really was very special, but the 686 was ahead in a few places and that was that. I seriously can't wait to give the Radford a listen, but that Croft was special. We shall see! |
