Just been looking at some of the speakers available on Ali Express.

Some interesting looking ones, no idea what they would be like but would love to try some of them just to see. Couple of models look very...familair. Seems to me that the Chinese are were the Japanese were in the late sixties early seventies when they were making facsimiles of JBL and AR speakers.

Here's the Orsefon 'Princess', remind you of anything?

Or if you don't fancy them there's the Qatlon M3B

I don't know whether you'd have to be brave, rich or a lunatic to spend money on them. Not saying they couldn't be good, but....could they?

That's what I'm asking. There's a Top Gear from about ten years ago where they go to China and drive Rover and Alpha clones. The card are terrible but even so they predict that we will all be driving Chinese cars in a few years time. But here we are and we're not. But a speaker is not as difficult to make as a car. I mean even I've built speakers.
