Probably been untold threads on carbon fibre anti static brushes, I know, and I've used numerous incarnations / versions myself.
Which one have you found most effective ?

I've used two, the latest one I believe is a Clearaudio, can't remember if there has really been a difference in effectiveness.

I can only speak to the generic design with the silver metal grip which is about 1/2” wide which has 2 rows of carbon fibre bristles. Sold under various brands. I don’t know why everyone seems to go for the CF brushes. I never liked ithe ones I tried and found that they didn’t actually pick up any dust. All you can do is attempt to brush it across the surface and off the edge. If you do that, even a few times, but then stop the record you can see that quite a bit remains. I always could anyway.
Now I use a Tonar velvet brush which has a curved surface, so you can hold it in place and rotate it off the record as it spins. It actually picks up all the dust - much better!

Yes, The widely known /used generic brush you mention is the one I've had in possibly every branding but pretty much the same thing really. Effective to a degree but as you say, still a fair bit of dust remains, hence time for a change. I like the sound of the Tonar you use and having read about it, common appraisal is that it s more effective than the generic brush, so I've ordered one - looks cool too, even in bright yellow so cheers for the rekkie

I use something similar but I do always clean vinyl with ultrasonic cleaner and a enzyme cleaner. I think place said cleaned vinyl in anti-static cover. Anal, yes, but makes you stylus last longer.
