I'm going to source an infrared disc for the remote sensor I'm adding to my preamplifer, and nine is the same price as one so thought I'd check if there is any interest here. They'll be 25mm or 30mm diameter and 3mm thick. I can go with either size but will default ot 25mm unless there is some interest here and 30mm is preferred.
What I mean to do is use a forstner bit for the disc diameter and only go 2mm deep, then use a TCT hole saw 5mm smaller for the through hole.
So, any interest and/or size votes?

I'm guessing a plastic red or black 'window' that passes IR, is this right?
