Hi Alan
All I can say having had a couple of these pass through our doors incredibly average at best, interesting would be to strong a word for these

Yes interesting is a word. I was interested in the Audio-GD amplifier that one Bakoon dealer reckoned was a direct copy, so I bought one, not because it was though to be a copy but because it was promoting 'no feedback' as one of its strengths (or BS marketing strengths).
I have usually found that incorporating some negative feedback is very beneficial, even a small amount. The Audio-GD certainly lost its grain/edge when I fitted an input stage to add feedback to the design.

Feedback, all manner and forms can both make or break an amplifier design, not forgetting left field dc servos coupling.
In our design i use what we would discribe as post output filter (capacitor/resistor & inductor) feedback system it helps our Liquid music amplifiers achieve the s/n 126db.
A great contributor to achieving cavernous three dimensionality and wonderfully tonally.
You could liken it to this, if you rebuilt your Marshall stacks with V-cap Tone capacitors.
Feedback when correctly applied can be rather special imho

What did you think of it before and after your modification? Hoping hoping you didn't bu--er it up For anyone interested Firebottle is going to do the same mods for me as he did to his own Chinese built pre-amp, just waiting for a couple of bits to come from AliExpress, and then I've got to forward them on. They are on their way Alan, but no knowing when they will get to me.

Hoping hoping you didn't bu--er it up Yes it was the one for sale on one of the forums. Bugger it up? How dare you Simple(ish) music sounded good but an edge crept in on more complex programme material. There was a small graininess that once heard you couldn't ignore. As the amp is non inverting (same phase out as in) I fitted an extra input stage so I could add in some negative feedback. Now it is very clear.

Unfortunately Kevin, I've tried to copy these emoji's but it just does not work for me, not very computer savvy, what I need is someone to sit down and show me what you do, please don't try and explain, I just get more confused.
