Hi all,
I am selling off a small selection of my personal valve stock. I will describe them with 100% transparency so please read the description of each valve carefully prior to contacting me.
All prices include UK postage. They are priced for Forum members, so no offers please.
No1:
Matched pair of Ei Yugoslavia ECC83 - Made in Nis on decommissioned Telefunken Machinery.
Bought NOS but one has seen 30 minutes of use.
Made back in the late 80s - early 90s in the EI factory in Nis, Serbia. (Elektronska Industrija Nis)
This valve was purchased from a gentleman in the former Yugoslavia, as he had acquired the last remaining 100pcs of NOS Ei ECC83 to have been made on the now decommissioned Telefunken Machinery. Ei bought the machinery when TFK commissioned S&H to make their valves.
The Valve is of identical construction to TFK ECC83, but for the weld between the getter and the arm, and the way they attached the plates. Other than that, they are as close as you will get to a “modern day” TFK valve.
Ei sold the machinery in piece meal after a decent run of valves were made, but ultimately got their valves made by Philips. The TFK machinery left to rot. What a shame.
Pics:
Price: £120 the pair or £65.00 Each
No2
Quad - RCA - “Radiotron” 6V6G - Used, but measured.
I bought these from a fella in the USA on DIY audio, as i had a Primaluna Prologue 5 and wanted to give them a try. However, the PL5 left my possession before they landed in the UK. such is the speed i move kit around lol
NO idea how they sound, how much life they have etc, but i am told a quad is worth a decent chunk of moola.
Measurements are:
V1 79/46
V2 91/46
V3 78/46
V4 84/46
Pics to follow:
Price: £80.00
As all of these valves are from a bygone era, and have been tested/tried prior to sale. I will not entertain any requests for return or refunds.
Everything will be posted to withstand a nuclear blast, and all items will be sent tracked and insured.
Many thanks,
Oliver.
