One of the things that seems to keep happening to me is the system keeps being taken apart to loan bits out. Whilst i have no issue with it and often encourage the loan of my gear, i am always left with a cheap Chinese T-Amp which sounds OK at best. I decided to see whether there was a cheap PCB which had similiar or even remotely similar to the Neurochrome. I found this: www.amazon.com/LM3886-NE5532-2X68w-Audio-Amplifier/dp/B07Z1KGW51I would love to hear any opinions on it. Seems to only need a very simple build and straight forward PSU to get it up and running.

It will be mediocre in comparison to the Neurochrome. The Modulus range use sophisticated circuitry to reduce distortion.
OK for a cheapie but I'd rather have a Proart PP-7180.

I've got an EXtron which sounds pretty fine for what is a computer amp. £50 Going to try it out on my good speakers soon.
