Great taster. You forget how young and daft they were. Lennon cavorting and being so lively is something I forgot really happened. It all got so serious so soon. Strange to see Linda M in cahoots with Yoko. Best group in the world. Gizzit ! 🙂

I guess we will have to just accept that we all have different taste. Mind you it doesn’t harm to go out on a limb sometimes. I
I remember when we lived in India we got invited to an evening of Indian classical music by the agent who sorted out our rented apartment. We didn’t have the time to think of a good enough excuse.. so ended up going.
It was amazing.. an outdoor concert by Zakir Hussain, changed my listening choices forever.
Mind you ... me and Fiona toddled off to the ‘End of the Road’ festival in Dorset about 10 years ago. We loved listening to Tinariwen, the Leisure Society, Laura Marling etc. Then on came the Fall. After about 5 minutes Fi said to me ‘what the hell is this?’ Said me....’it’s time to hit the Somerset cider bus.’

I must admit the Beatles for the most part leave me cold, as do the Strolling bones, its not that they didn't change the world of music its just my parents played them constantly at home it was like Chinese water torture. Still my sister saved me from that world

I have watched this clip 3 times and what stands out is the amazing quality of the film, like it was filmed in HD yesterday. Mr Jackson must have done some make over / upscaling of the quality to get it to look like that?
Helen thought it was actors playing the Beatles at first because the quality was THAT good!
Wow

Wow Yes that was what struck me too. And the sound quality as well.

I was rash about the Beatles though. They were the Second best band in the world.
