I'm experiencing a whoosh / air sound from my speakers when I turn the volume on the amp up. I can really hear it when volume up quarter way.
Any ideas what causes this and what I need to do ?

On phono or line setting?
Usually with solid state it is a transistor gone noisy or failing. Sometimes a resistor can go noisy.
Needs to be looked at.
