I've a rather excellent Primaluna Prologue 5 power amp, and with its clever autobias system it can happily accommodate a wide variety of power valves. 6550, EL34, 6L6,KT88/90/120 and many others. Great fun.

What it can't do is accept my favourite power valve, the EL84.

But I've come across adapters like these that would appear to solve the problem.
