Well that one's in Scotland so it's dark and raining most of the year anyway.
Point taken about the ceilings but there's forty-odd rooms so maybe there's a better one than that?

I used to fancy a lighthouse. I do love the sea.

Rudi: You could always check out mainland Greece, Bulgaria or even Hungary. Northern Cyprus has amazing property for bargain prices too. Not sure I’m quite ready for dealing with Turkish property laws, otherwise I’d take my own advice. The north is prettier Andy the pace of life is sloooow. Decent villas to be had for 100kmor even less if you are fortunate.
If it has to be Spain, why not look at Fuerteventura. The badlands have some good properties for reasonable money. The landscape is barren and you won’t have sea views though. If you want better views, Caleta De Fuste is cheaper than Corralejo.

I keep telling people, The Azores is the place to be. Bit rainy, but I don't mind that. Never too hot or too cold. Low cost of living, nice scenery and towns, decent health care and a useful Brit expat contingency and many locals speak English. It gets less jammed with tourists than Madeira and the Canaries etc. And if there's ever a major war or world pandemic, it's probably the last place that's going to be affected.

We were on holiday in Pembrokeshire last week. Property round there is cheap as chips; a terraced house would set you back £90k, or there's a derelict farmhouse with loads of outbuildings and several acres of land for £450k if you fancy a project.

Can't see Rudy moving to a terrace, it would leave him with a lot of surplus flat screen TVs. Plus no off road parking.
Round here £80K is the top of the line for a terrace, and that's for one done out like the inside of Tracy Island. Knackered ones in bad areas start at about £45K. If you had the brass you could buy an entire row of them and do a 'Hard Day's Night' on them.
A big 3 bed ex-council house semi with gardens front and back, in a decent area (with trees and that) is about £125K, fully tricked up maybe £140K. I reckon it all must be undervalued as no soon do the boards go up they are all sold. In a week at the outside.

As a novice, I didn’t realise helmets cost more than £100 ish. I don’t think I could wear a full face helmet: too claustrophobic.

You need a nice classic bike to go with that helmet.

That's my old 500. The RD400's never even got close. I had the 400 S3A as well, that blew the RD's away too!

ofc not he would never wear an open face anyway ..and i would never allow him to ride with one either. can loose ya face in a crash he'll have a proper bike one day so it's good to buy a helmet that will grow with his bikes..no way i'de let him ride with a 100 quid cheap lid...

Not had a biggish bike for ten years. Got a little Honda Innova tucked away in the garage doing nothing. It's only got 4k on the clock and not been used for ages.

how many 15 year old gets over 20k spent on em for xmas lol I doubt we've spent 20k on presents for our two putting all Christmases and birthdays together over the 30 years or so we've been buying them presents. £50 is about the limit for the main present, maybe a tad more if the present is for birthday and Christmas combined. Now I think about it, we bought them a laptop each when one was off to university and the other was starting A levels, so that would have been about £500 apiece.

Feels awesome to have money rolling in. Anybody could do it, but few do. Just make sure you know when to step off the treadmill and enjoy it. We’re a long time dead.
