For the last couple of weeks, I've been really struggling with an ear problem. I seemed to have a build up wax, which I just couldn't shift. I noticed a degree of hearing loss this week and decided I had to do something. Normally, this time of year sees me nip off to the Drs and and request a microsuction procedure. I do this yearly, as I like to look after my ears, but this year its obviously not possible. My youngest suffers from excessive ear wax too, and has from birth, so much so that his speech was curtailed from developing until my wife literally refused to leave the hospitals hearing center, until they did the microsuction on his ears. Chatting to Angus about it, he recommended trying this stuff.... www.boots.com/Boots-Ear-cleaning-spray-75ml-10232737So yesterday I bought some and tried it...now I'm back to hearing the sweet sound of butterfly wings flapping.....well, not quite but you get the idea. This stuff is seriously good. Not an unpleasant experience at all. I did mine twice yesterday and will do them again next week, just to be sure its got it all out, but for £7.50....it could be the cheapest upgrade for your system Before and after pics of my sons ears after I did his too....he is 5yrs, so if he can cope, you can!

I use this stuff
It sort of fizzes in your ear while it is working and once the fizzing stops you use a rubber bulb with warm water to rinse the mess out. Not sure the young 'un would stay still long enough while it's working, which could take up to ten minutes and having your head cranked over for that length of time can be tiresome.
As you squeeze the water out of the bulb, the suction as it draws air back in usually grabs hold of a big clot of wax which is handy.

I hadnt realised there were such a varied array of possibilities.
Might try the buld thing.
I have a mild irritation today from the solution I think.

I've never bothered with any of this ear cleaning stuff. I read that if you do it once then you end up having to do it for the rest of your life. No idea if that is true but it always put me off. Especially as it used to be that you had to make an appointment at the doctor. Nothing worse than sitting for hours in a room full of sick people, come out in worse health than you went in. I suppose issues can be genetic though in which case there's not much option. Not hearing as well as I potentially could must mean I save a fortune on hi-fi as I can't hear the benefits of upgrading.

It's so long since I last went to the vet that I can't recall how long I actually waited. I know it seemed like hours.

Last time I went to the dentist I tried to book the first appointment of the day but it was taken so I got the second. Turned up ten minutes early. Waited forty minutes. One appointment in front of me and he's already run 30 minutes over time. That really breaks my balls.
And his selection of magazines is crap. Fishing magazines FFS and ancient copies of Vogue that must be left over from his ex-wife. You can pick a good dentist by looking at the magazines he's put out. If he has not got the most recent edition of The Robb Report he must be a crap dentist. All good dentist get the Robb Report so they can find stuff to spend all their money on.

I think its the same as everything, you dont have to start shaving, and once you do you do it forever The ears always feel miles better after a clean and suppose if you dont know what youre missing, you never miss it. But then again, if you aren't keeping the sound receptacles in tip top shape, you'd be bonkers to spend decent money on the hobby? Surely the ears are the most important bit in any listening session lol

There doesn't seem to be any need to do anything unless you have the following symptoms: How to tell if your ear is blocked with earwax You can have: earache difficulty hearing itchiness dizziness an ear infection sounds such as high-pitched tones coming from inside the ear (tinnitus) Once the earwax is removed, these symptoms usually improve. If they do not, see the nurse at your GP practice. www.nhs.uk/conditions/earwax-build-up/

I think your best bet frankly is to sell the boy and count your losses. Its obvious to me that he's going to bring you nothing but trouble. I understand you can get good money in Praia Da Luz for children nowadays. 🥴

Probably be cheaper to run a Ferrari.
I said that to one of my brothers about his children once and he just looked sad and said 'Yeah.'

Praiai de Luiz, I think that ship has sailed, presumed lost, signs of sinking found, disregarded, then blamed on someone else.
If that German guy did do it then he hid her behind the sofa and used their fucking car. Cadavre dogs don't make mistakes.

those candle thingys are supposed to be very good too. Hopi Candles are unsuitable for removing ear wax. They say that the gentle "chimney effect" helps with blocked sinuses but I have seen no evidence that they do.
