Ordered a Pecan pi Dac from Leo.
The tracking shows it was picked up from New Jersey on Monday afternoon,
It’s just been delivered at 2:15 on Wednesday to the mean streets of rural Cheshire.
OK, I paid for DHL express but that really is outstanding.

Look forward to your thoughts on this Steve Hi Brian This one is a replacement. I damaged mine by dropping a tin lid on it.. think it must have shorted something out. All my own fault. This dac is superb... which is why I got another. However I’m attempting to give it a better chance to perform even more. I’m adding an SBooster Linear PS to the Pecan and have replaced the raspberry pi with an Allo USbridge Signature with its own linear power supply. Oh.. and the first thing I’m doing is putting the Pecan into a case of its own. My accidents are getting costly! So I’ve got 4 boxes in quarantine till Sat. Well probably Friday, but I’ll wash my hands after. |

Quarantine needs to be at least 14 days, apparently. I’d read that. But gambling that dettol wipes, anti bacteria spray and constantly washing hands between actions helps to counteract. We have weekly deliveries from the supermarket that is taking 2 hours to decontaminate... including soaking everything that can be in Milton tablets. Reminds me of my days in the Raj ( we lived in India for 5 years and took bulk Milton back with us all the time). Happy days eh. |
