OK I was on the scrounge, went to Firebottle’s hovel, trapeze speakers....lol. I borrowed Alan’s Topping D50 to compare with my D30 Unfortunately Bigman80 was there.......sorry for the new nickname Oli I joined them in listening to a variety of phono stages, you suckers don’t know what your missing. Bigbottle Mk3 was the standout, it shocked me. I think I sat with my mouth wide open. The well known alternatives had no place. Timing, timbre, detail, control all outstanding. I know in these times of Corvid 19 things are difficult but if your into vinyl you owe it to yourself.

Ah, he hasn't spoilt that Paradise has he? Oi Cheeky! lol The Paradise actually sounded better than it did on my last visit (which was post box reduction operation) That valve buffer idea could catch on, i like it! All completely against the grain of everything the Paradise stands for, but oddly rather more enjoyable nonetheless. You should know by now Simon, that we are a bunch of nutters down here and nothing is sacred. Try Alans 3 component valve buffer in your Paradise and see what you think..its only HiFi

Best thing was that you didn't know what we were listening to and you thought the "better" one was the Paradise lol Still chuckling. Nice to see you today and catch up.

Ah, but you two knew which was on, I was blind listening (oxymoron?) and chose the best sounding one.
That I thought it was the Paradise is a complement.
Cretin.
Oh good to meet again.
