My cat used to sit on the arm of the chair and listen with me. At least it looked like he was listening. He was certainly hearing. He would react physically when the amplifier clipped.

Gorgeous moggie. But ... human beings are the only animal that can keep rhythm. I saw an interesting program a while ago that did extensive tests and even after attempts at training some species , but even the apes couldn't keep a beat passed one. So that gorilla doing the Phil Collins is definitely suspicious. . Maybe the cat is just a lazy arse or knows which side it's bread is buttered. I suppose animals will react to sounds though. High frequency gets my pussy all excited Mr Peacock.

Interesting info on the rhythm thing - I wonder how many animals they have checked........... This afternoon he started to then supervise me in the garage finishing of the engine build:

Supervising is a skill just like spanner wielding.
