With proper thought given to the motor control wiring that'd be mint.
I'm not a huge fan of such a heavy platter without mag or air bearing though.

With proper thought given to the motor control wiring that'd be mint. I'm not a huge fan of such a heavy platter with mag or air bearing though. Yes, I totally agree with the wiring. Kills it a bit but its definitely a looker

I bet it runs pretty damn accurately though, well engineered high mass belt drives with weak motors are best of type
