True to my name I am not being of a electronic techy DIY bent. This being the case I thought it might be useful to have a thread where we could collate articles etc on techy stuff for reference to DIYers and those others interested. They don't have to be for beginners so feel free to post anything you think might be of use or interest to more technically illuminated members too! That's decent, he misses stacked metalised film caps out though, like wins, good for decoupling.

I would just add with resistors remember that the max rating are for use with a heat sink and that for example a 30W rating would only be around 4-5 watts without a suitable sink.

I don't know what the buggery bollocks you're all on about ! I was looking forward to reading this. I thought it was gonna be well good. I thought I was going to get some reasonable ideas to make me SL1200 sound better. I thought you were going to talk about rubber feet . What a load of old tripe. ๐งท Bloody caps ! ...I Sh#t em. ๐
