I bought an LP in January. Just opened it today and it looks like it has a blob of glue on it.
The window for returns is now closed. How can I get the glue off?

I’m sure if you soak a tissue and rest it on it it will soften with time.
We are talking PVA glue yes?

It could be hot glue from a glue gun. Try the wet tissue. It might work.

I was thinking it was a second hand vinyl and the owner tried some PVA glue to clean it.

Nope. Brand new.
Bought from Amazon, but not opened for a couple of months. Worst case I will buy another from the same supplier and return the bad one.

angle grinder or scotchbright scrubbing pad...works a treat In this case, it is probably the best bet for this disc. In looks like an inclusion fron the pressing process. I have managed to remove part of it, to be left with a “pothole” in the surface. |

If it's bit of moulding contamination thetes nowt you can do. Buy another copy, send the first one back pretending it's the new one. Then flog one
