I prefer the aesthetics of the Eddies. Never heard either though, so the important thing is how they sound in your set-up.

I wish I was still back in Bristol, well Frampton Cotterell to be precise. Always fancied a pair of Eddies.

But this way I get to hear a lot of different setups. They look lovely and perversely, i prefer the gloss look over the Eddies. I was close to buying a pair of Eddies a while back but ended up going a different way.

Good speakers those B&W. Mind you so are the Edingdales. Quite a big difference between them though. I like the piano gloss black finish, suits your décor better too.

My 683’s were also excellent hence the reason trying them again. I’d love to try some 803’s they look very nice and hope for the money they sound as good. if some pop up cheap enough and close enough to collect I think I’d have to buy.

A mate of mine is now a B&W dealer so he has the 800s in his listening room now. They sure do rock! Amazing dynamics and unlimited scale, quite scary when he cranks up the new Chord mono block amps.

Oh very nice. I think it will be a while before I can afford them. All I can do is dream but hey you never know!
