She does have a touch of feral in the stare. Scary but gorgeous Another rescue, respect. Haha ... yeah. Turned out that the people 3 doors down had their house repossessed. They had loads of cats.. including a few Abyssinians. The owner came back to collect them all, but this one didn’t get collected and spent the first few weeks of her life living rough. It wouldn’t have happened under a labour government. She shot in our kitchen one day and refused to leave. So always been slightly potty.. and yes feral. In India they would have been called ‘jungly’. An apt term.

It's a Rover....
Sorry...couldn't resist!
Pedegree working strain Cocker Spaniel. This litter's come from parents bred for temperament, so calmer than many but very alert and easy to train.

It will, but is probably a lot easier to live with day to day than our old boy, sadly no longer with us:

meet karma
My mate has two Dobermans and they are real sweeties. Always jump up and lick you to death and I love that in a dog's temperament.
Now and again I let my two greyhounds loose in the paddock with the dobies and for speed they are not far behind my two, but I have to watch their energies otherwise it can get a bit too much excitement.

Beautiful. Better turn the amp on... her arse is getting cold by the look on her face. Spaniels are gorgeous , as are any animal in my opinion. Its us humans who let the side down. Our last pooch was a rescued greyhound but sadly the big C got him at 6 years old.

We have a ginger tom, hes a rescue to replace the previous one. Hes called Noel and hes as thick as f-ck. Took him 6 years before he learnt to open a door by pulling at it. He never settles on you. The old cat would just plonk down on you, job done. Noel's always nipping you and head butting your arm.

Yep our ginger tom was dense as well, he always thought he was hard as nails, but the muppet got knacked by all comers. He had a quality cool dude strut though. Cost a small fortune getting him put back together at the vets.

Well I'm sure he/she has gone to a good home, have you given a name yet? Very lovable. Oli has it We've named him Murphy, as with his black coat and white bib there's a smattering of Irish Stout about his appearance and "Guinness" would have sounded a silly name for a pup! Remarkably for a Cocker, he has the even temperament of a Lab and is not at all scatty...a very lovable little pup. He's from good stock...his grandfather was a working championship winning dog and his mum was from one of the country's top trainers....we got lucky with the breeder we went to I think. It's been a while since we lost our GWP but the time seems right for another dog, especially now we have plenty of time on our hands...

Although I'm really a dog person, we're a cat household - cats and tropical fish. 5 cats atm, all rescues. Here's Tiffy keeping an eye on some dodgy-looking sheep. and BG (Big Girlie), a rescue from our local vet, dumped by previous owner - she must have been 14 or 15 when we took her on in 2017, difficult to say, maybe younger but havind had a hard life, in pretty poor shape and very scared of people. She's great now, a very happy and much healthier girl. Now residing with the morning stars, this is Sooty. And twin brothers, Bobo and Roley.
