i knocked this up on the lathe today,is it an improvement? i dont know as my tt is out of action. options are, 1, use instead of the original one. 2, use underneath the tonearm board with the original for extra rigidity. 3,what do i know? throw it in the bin as audio technica know best

Can I just ask what the benefits are for using Panzerholz as a mounting collar material?

It has very good damping around 1khz, 0.89, not so good lower down.

Horrible colour too lol actually i found it relatively easy to machine on the lathe, its harder to route though. i agree on the colour, awful imo,if it betters the orignal collar it being sprayed black.

Angus has given me a choice for the SP10 Panzerholz. Stained or sprayed mat black. Going for the mat black. 🤩
