Thought it was about time I joined as I see a fair number of folk on here I already know.  Presently I am without a system as I am in between houses but it will be resurrected as soon as I move. So I am making do with a Macbook pro loaded with files and a pair of Philips Fidelio X2 headphones. I have been knocking around with audio for a long time and it has been an interesting journey which I will detail on my blog later. So I would just like to say Hi and look forward to contributing to this forum. |

'Ello! It's bloody difficult in practise, but once you get a room that's audio-gear friendly, any old Sh#t will sound pretty good in it - first hand experience. Get it wrong, as I have the last two houses, and you'll be fussing and farting around, hearing differences that aren't really there ('cos a few weeks down the line you'll be unhappy again as shown so often on other audio forums). Good luck - and don't forget 'pro' gear as some of it is so much better and better value than domestic stuff designed to look good (and expensive) first....... |

Thanks for the welcome chaps and nice to join the forum.
I feel this will become my main residence as I don't like to join too many forums as it would take over my life and as I see there are a good many friends on here I have engaged with over the years this looks like a good place to be.
