I borrowed a Phasemation 300 from Hugo a couple of days ago and have literally done nothing but played vinyl for two days. This cartridge is unreal it's bested any SPU I've owned and even my reference Ortofon Cadenza black. WOW! This little baby is at the bottom of the phasemation food chain. I'd really love to know how it compares to other Japanese exotica. I'd be intrigued to hear any comments about comparisons against Transfiguration, Miyajima carts. My eyes have been well and truly opened. I'm seriously considering moving from Denmark (ortofons) to Japan.

Wayne had one on loan and he was very impressed by it. Certainly something I'd like to try. What were its traits? |

First impressions are very positive. Slightly brighter than my Ortfon Royal N SPU but oh how much more detail. I would describe this cartridge as vivid, very involving, and very addictive. Certainly more realism to a performance than the SPU's.
