Saturday we took our son who is 2 years old on his first bus trip to town and then to the Library. He was so exited by both and on the trip back we sat on top deck right at the front so he was in his little element. In the afternoon whilst he was having a snooze, we sorted out the garage and I took some stuff to the tip.
Sunday we went for a nice walk in the local area which included Leo going into the play area and on the slide and swings. Then we went out for a lovely meal at a local pub that we were recommended. The food was delicious.
How about you guys?

I acquired a mobility scooter no less as my legs cannot cope with slopes and hills any more. Cost me nothing to buy, but the batteries are fatigued so will have to fit some new ones.
Isn't ageing a bastard?

Isn't ageing a bastard? I have noticed that I'm not as young as I think, especially recovering from the crash and subsequent surgeries. I agree, it's a bitch

I had an interesting weekend. My daughters French Grandparents were here, with my neice, who was born at 26 weeks. She is now officially 17 months old medically, even if her birthday is in April. Apart from not yet having teeth, and being a bit deaf, she is a very happy , inquisitive and noisy child. I am absolutely knackered from stopping her pressing buttons, opening cupbpards etc.
I think she got the message by the end of the weekend, but it was not easy for either of us....
Saturday we went to see the Chinese Lantern festival at Gaillac. It was well worth the hour drive. The family enjoyed it.
Sunday morning, I cooked an english breakfast, followed by a sunday roast. The inlaws left after lunch, and I spent the afternoon playing with my MC cartridges. The best being the Paratrace EPC-310MC, I think. I have left that installed to listen to again tonight, but it has made me wonder if the Art9 will better it.

Why not relax the Technics one for a while and see how you feel in a month or two?

Why not relax the Technics one for a while and see how you feel in a month or two? That is the plan. I was not planning on buying it before April. I also need to be reasonably sensible, as I may have to change my car soon. It is 16 years okd now, and the controle technique is due soon. Let's see if it passes first time this time around....
