Hello Oliver
Thank you for the welcome, I have a confession I own three Sonneteer amplifiers, Campion (a present from my brother which started me on this rocky road), the Alabaster and the Orton. I feel they are just so musical. Will not be letting go of these either, I spoke with the manufacturer a short time ago, they are not planning on making these amps unless they are enough orders, they will be bringing out a hybrid alabaster/Orton that has modular systems that can be fitted, dac, phono stage etc.
However my personal favorite is the Alabaster, lots of pace, drive and music!
Now I have settled back in the UK I can set up the system with care now
Simon

Myself, I have never heard anything by them but I did want to try the Sedley phonostage at one point but it escaped my attempt to buy it cheap. Glad you've joined us on the re-begining of your HiFi journey.

Thank you for the warm welcome members.

The Quadrals have been a real ear turner in the last year, came across them by accident while working in Germany last year, just a superb musical sound they produce, previously I was using Focal Diablo's a really good speaker, but I just could not listen for long periods, in fairness the sound with the Alabaster was good, plenty of detail and pace. Ultimately they just did not connect with me.

I know exactly what you mean, I previously had Focal Electra 1028 Be and whilst excellent speakers, they just weren’t easy to listen to for extended periods.
The Quadral’s are a dream in comparison, they have all the detail of the Focal’s but much more musical and easier on the ear. The bass slam and depth from them is surprising given they only have one bass driver vs. two on the Focal too.
