Just thought I would let people know that Tidal are offering 5 months subscription got €5. You can choose what you want, so as I will be cancelling it the day before it expires, I took the family HiFi subscription.

I tried recently for the £1.99 offer and they charged me £20 as I already had a trial.

Yes, I believe so. Been billed €5, and next one due on the 25th May.

Thinking about it, if you had multiple e-mail accounts, you could probably benefit from the special offer again.

Streaming Tidal HiFi at “master” quality and it sounds pretty good. Not sure ai would pay €20 a month for it though.

How much do you spend per year on new music purchases?

New music purchases mean I have the music here to listen to. Tidal means I have to keep paying to listen to that music.
I tend to use streaming to assess new music before I buy it, although the Tidal HiFi with master streaming seems to be very good from a quality perspective.

Like a drug dealer hanging round a school giving out cheap drugs to get kids hooked.

We use Roon for streaming Tidal, and our library (owned music) shows up first, when searching an artist, then continues to what Tidal has to offer. If there is anything you would purchase you don't have to but simply add it to your library. Of course you can not keep Tidal add-ons should you cancel Tidal. We have not had any need to purchase any new music since. It's the way forward Cagey.

I am still a vinyl man at heart, but for such a cheap price, it would be rude not to take advantage of the offer.
