Well members, I'm just about to get off to bed as the kids will undoubtedly want to get up at 4am.
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you all, even if you don't participate, I sincerely hope you have a good day, even if it is just another Wednesday to you.

Merry Christmas , matey . But as far as I'm concerned as a man without the desperate need to appear liberated or ' trendy' ...let's forget the alternative holiday season PC nonsense eh ? No "desperate need", eng, just an acknowledgement that some folks don't celebrate Christmas but celebrate something entirely different. Our neighbours are pagans, have a tree etc but celebrate their gods, Odin I believe. They get a "Seasons Greetings" card from us. Also, believe it not, being considerate has never been trendy! |

Merry Christmas.. the comment was a dig at the trendy ultra PC brigade . Some I know who think we actually
' SHOULDN'T ' be calling it Christmas day.
Although I admit didn't know that pagans considered December the 25th a holy day or celebrated it. .
Why would they , I'm wondering ?

I do love being enlightened.

X No worries, December 25th is actually the date the pagans used to celebrate their gods, and it was the Christians who adopted that date (Jesus was born in spring) to get the religion to appeal to pagans and eventually led to the conversion of the pagans to Christianity. |
