Hey fellow audiophile / music passionites !  Some of you know me already from other places. Big big classic reggae and classic soul fan, then throw in the classic Steely Dan ( so Aja and Gaucho in particular). When my system is up and running, you'll find me spinning Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Culture, Abyssinians, Black Uhuru, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Freddie McGregor, but to mention a few, Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Randy Crawford, Gwen Guthrie, Roberta Flack, Bill Withers, Billy Paul, Eddie Kendricks, Barry White, Roy Ayres, The Sylvers, Bobby Caldwell etc etc System is Technics SP10 MK2, Technics EPA-250 tonearm, Ortofon Cadenza Black moving coil with Fritz Gyger S re-tip, Sansui AU alpha 707DR Integrated amp, Pioneer PD-91, Spendor D7 floorstanders. Love big high end Japanese amps, Ortofon cartridges from 2M Black upwards.........  |

All I'll say is there's Stevie Wonder and there's Stevie Wonder ie: please dont think I'm talking the very commercial '80's poppy stuf which I do not/would not possess. '70's and then right up to the Hotter than July album is about good for me.... |
