Hi Having read a lot about the quality of the Neurochrome amps recently I have ordered one of these which have just started shipping. I pre ordered to get advantage of the discount and also bought the chassis kit which I like the look of. I listen to quit a lot of music on headphones so will be interested to see how it stacks up against my NJ Audio monitor 2 headphone amp which I really like. Won't be able to build it for a while but looking forwards to receiving it and having a look.  HP2 |

Haven't had a lot of time lately but I think the board will have to go to Alan for some TLC however hope to get a chance to do some case work over the xmas break - depending on weather! Haven't given up on it , don't worry! |

Ok so got a note from RM about duty to pay so if anybody is curious the cost at todays exchange rate for postage, chassis and pcb is £252 plus import charge of £58. Looking at the project build BOM on mouser add about £120 with an Alps pot. If you provide your own chassis then you can knock about £150 off the bill but it looks nice so I thought I'd get it. Hope to pick it up this week |

Picked it up today and had a look inside 🙂 Well packaged and quality feel to the parts . The pcb feels very weel made and the smaller one is for the Alps pot .   |

The case is by Modushop and is nice anodised black. The front panel looks real classy and is a sustantial 10 mm thick! Cd for scale etc. The print look very hood on it and whilst not small it isn't a massive size. Feels all quality😎    |

Mostly through hole as well, only a couple of soic8 smt which are easy to hand solder with .3mm solder
