OK Andrew, I'll try and remember to give you 1st refusal. It is sounding very good. Different to the Technics SU-A707, I think I'll take a while to adjust before I can fully appreciate its merits. Mind you, I've got another amp probably arriving tomorrow which I'm half expecting to punt the Aurex into the weeds.

Ahh, they don't make 'em like this anymore. Serviced, recapped. I seem to be a sucker for the Technics Sound. ð

Thanks Alan. Yup, I'm having fun as usual. ð Set up as of just now looks like this .... I've gone a bit clock crazy. ðĪŠ The resting Meridian 551 amp and non resting Topping D90 DAC are hidden behind the top right shelf quadrant clocks. The gap between the clocks allows visibility of the volume display and also remote control signal access. The resting Toshiba Aurex amp is behind the top left quadrant clocks. Absolutely loving the Technics SU 3500 amp. Easily one of my favourite amps. .... as of now, I'd only change it if a black fascia version came along. ð There's also a power amp input facility that I haven't tried yet. That might be interesting. And the Topping D90 DAC is at least a medium term keeper. No thoughts of changing it at all atm. I seem to have reached a doubtless temporary settled stage, everything is working together well and the music is flowing nicely. No changes desired for now, nothing on my Curiosity List is nagging at me.

Great news Jerry, somehow the busy front of the Technics seems to fit in with your eclectic collection of clocks.
