Hi folks! Some of you may have come across me from elsewhere. I registered here a while back, but at that time I was already involved in too many forums so I just let it lie. But now one or two of those have evolved in a way I am not comfortable with, so at Oli's suggestion I'm popping in here and we'll see how it goes.

We're only a small forum at the minute, but it's a good group of people with some decent content. We have a blog section, so please feel free to share you box swapping adventures. Oliver.

Hi folks! Some of you may have come across me from elsewhere. Never heard of you! Hello Jerry. Hello Geoff. Amazingly, I have already sung your praises here, on my new blog thread. No, not about your Tannoy obsession.

Yes, I've come across you before Jerry. Nice to see you here, you'll feel at home with the number of box swappers on here. I cannot count myself as one of them though, I prefer to listen before I buy, although I did purchase a pair of Beyerdynamic DT1770 Pros last week. Unfortunately I've put them back up for sale since I would rather have the cash for my hols and will have to make do with my PSB M4U1's.

... and will have to make do with my PSB M4U1's. My fave cans, the PSB M4U1. I do swap the earpads out, though - they are just a teensy bit narrow for my ears. They gain in spaciousness as well.

You are the only other person I have read about using these cans. Do you have a link to the earpads you purchased, if not don't worry.

Well, I've ordered a set. They have arrived today and I have removed one of the earpads, how on earth do you re-fit the new ones? Any tips.

Well I've got em fitted, not correctly, I've had to go completely over the ear piece, rather than try and fit them in the slot. Hope you can under that Jerry. I have to agree having had a quick listen, maybe a little more spacious as you say and for me more comfortable.

Yay - excellent. Yep, I had the same fitting problem - they don't slip into the proper slot but encompass the whole earcup.
Good to see you like them.
