I have the AT 150EA Cartridge which was a Japan only model very similar to the popular AT 150MLX. The main diffrences are that the EA has a lower inductance and the stlylus is an eliptical, nude diamond set in a Boron Cantilever the original replacement stylus are no longer available but some of AT's newer VM range stylus will fit.
I'm thinking of buying a spare stylus after Christmas and there seems to be three that might also be considered an upgrade aswell as a replacement/spare.
1. VMN40 ML which is a Micro Line nude rectangular shank construction £189.99
2. VMN50 SH Which is a Shibata Nude Diamond £244
3. VMN60 SLC Which is a Special Line Contact and is also a nude rectangular shank construction and is a shade under £500
I'm almost certainly going to overlook the last purely on price but the others look interesting does anyone have any experience or knowledge of them or any other recomendations either from the VM range or any other NOS or 3rd party offerings.
