Let's have a football thread ay. Named "Soccerball" due to my endless gratitude to NBCSN for relieving me of any need to pay for Sky, BT Sport and Now Amazon! What a PITA it is trying to watch EPL games in the UK. Any hoo, just settling down to watch the Mighty Burnley do us LFC fans a mahoosive favour (he says in hope) and hold MCFC to a draw.  |

We need Rodriguez on for Wood to feed and we have to stop backing off the fucking wingers.
We're giving them 20 free yards every time they get it.
Saying that , at the moment we're playing about as well as we can. On top wages of £20,000 a week we can't hold a team like this up.
Man City are still soft bastards though and this ref is an infamous out of condition top 6 coward .
Otimendez should have been booked for an elbow as should De Bruyne for treading on..
At this rate our only chance is Wood leaning on Otimendez unless there's at least two changes.
Rodriguez for Hendrick and Louten for Bardsley who's lost his pace.
Oh .... and it's fucking freezing ! 😟

Pretty shameful to be honest.
Piss poor performance.
We're just praying on the shite teams and scraping by.
Not many people at Burnley will sob for Dyche now. His lack of ideas and constant defending is driving the players and supporters into the ground.

It's the first time in 5 years that people here are saying there's something bad in the team.
And a lot of it is Dyche and his stubbornness. A team one nil down and under the cosh has to change something at half time !
And he doesn't .. Ever !

I think you'll lose the LB, (?) too, can't remember his name but he was class against us and seems to have genuine ability.
Too many players with very little speed. Certainly not as good as you were a couple of seasons back.
A change could be a good thing.

Left winger with a talent way above the rest.
Not the finished article yet though.
If he goes to a top club too early he'll never play.
He needs two years.

Well pissed off with last nights result, it's time Everton's manager was given the elbow. They should never have got rid of Martinez. Yes, he's been u lucky with injuries etc but they aren't getting any better. Sigurdsen (?) was almost anonymous and the Keeper is highly suspect IMO. He's no England Keeper. Liverpool were ruthless at times and sloppy at others but the fact we played so well without Salah, Firmino, Fabinho, Matip and Alison, were reasons to be cheerful. Thought Shaqiri had a great game. Some lovely touches. TAA is world class too. Good Times. |
