Not everyone will want to share, but I thought it was a nice idea for a thread.
Mine’s nothing special, but here’s the outline.
Xmas at home, just the two of us. I really love this house, which is unusual for me, so I’m looking forward to it.
We have two small gold trees in memory of our two dogs. Each has a star on top which we both made.
Not sure if we will get presents. We sometimes do, but it’s usually small stuff.
Dinner will be shortcut traditional.
The day will probably be spent watching tv and listening to music. Might have a walk or cycle I’d the weather is okay.

Four of us here on Christmas Day (self, wife, two grown-up daughters). Traditional dinner with veggie/vegan alternatives. Presents after dinner, followed by board games, followed by snooze. Walk on Boxing Day (weather permitting). Sister-in-law and husband visiting on 27th.

I avoid Christmas and do my best to pretend the occasion does not exist. As an athiest, it would be hypocritical of me to do otherwise. As an excuse to take it easy and get pissed, well, I can do that anytime.

There'll just be the usual ten of us, my other half, her three daughters + two partners & three grandkids. I'm hoping Aubree (who's six) will get some new playmobil stuff for me to play with.

Take away 1/4 Chicken and bloody soggy chips from the Greek cafe, on my own, and a bottle of cheap dry white.

I will be travelling around the U.K. to see family and friends, followed by travelling around France visiting family and friends. One year, I may get my own way, and actually be allowed to stay at home for Christmas.

Bloody leaking flat roof, took me an hour or two, they paid me well cash. Bought a couple of pies from the service station and a big Coke. Smoked a doobie and watched the cars on the highway from the roof, it was so quite, not a soul in site. Best Christmas ever. Took the long way home on my bike.

Just the four of us this year.
It's a full day when you have two under 9s and the presents to contend with lol.
I like Christmas, just wish it didn't start in November. December onwards is fine by me.

I dislike the travelling involved, but I am looking forward to the reaction of my daughter to her new bike.

Only myself and brother here. No presents to open, followed by a couple of sherries, tradition Christmas dinner with wine and then a snooze. TV and music for the rest of the day. Boxing day pretty much the same except watching horse racing in the afternoon.

Will be a quiet one, just my other half and myself, our daughter will pop in at some point. Hogmanay will be spent at my mum’s place in the Highlands as always, that’s more of a celebration than Christmas usually is, it’s a Scottish thing.

Hahaha, you make me laugh Eng.
I love it.
My daughter was here earlier so I asked her to help me stick the lights up, on the front of the house.
Told me to bollocks 😂😂😂

Yes, that was a bad result, why am I thinking you're from Rotherham then. I have a friend from Burnley, who I met when living abroad but still keep in touch.

Because you're thinking of Andre the Rotherham romancer who is from the depths of South Yorkshire and is not me in any way or form and I could easily be offended if I thought you meant I can be compared in any way or form to such a life form. I'm a North Yorkshireman. That's the posh bit. Which makes me very posh. Which I am. So watch it ! I have friends in very high places ...... like York. 😌

Used to live in Harrogate, too many locals with their head stuck up their posh arses. So why support Burnley, hang on N. Yorks don't have a decent footie team.

A lifelong thing. I used to live in the very un posh town of Keighley. So the choice was Burnley , Bradford , or Leeds. From a very young age I started supporting the clarets with is actually nearer than Leeds and infinitely preferable to Bradistan. I met the missus ( at a Sex Pistols concert , believe it or not ) and to my delight found she'd been going to Burnley with her dad since she was eight. A match made in heaven . There was always a good support from Keighley at Burnley ( it's only 14 miles away ) and buses were laid on for every home match. We now live in North Yorks but in reality it's only a half hour drive across the border to Burnley. And we all go. Me , the missus , and our lass.

Nice to know that Eng. I will say I do have a soft spot for Burnley dating back to the Ralph Coates era, even though I have always followed Everton. I support Grimsby Town of course.
