It struck me that I have less unused stuff sat round today than I’ve had in years.....maybe decades. I’m still pondering the Campion/Orton choice as the former has subtleties the latter doesn’t, so both are technically in use.
My Audio Innovations L1 is also in the loop for headphone listening, so that too isn’t sat idle. So what’s below is all I have sat unused.
Neat Petite 3 DIY Cubettes Kelvin Interconnects Sound Organisation Z1 speaker stands

For me it's a Sh#t-load of cables and interconnects........I must sort out what's what someday. And a much previously loved Audiolab 8000A which I could never bring myself to scoot out.
Oh, and some Yammy cassette decks, a Sony MiniDisc deck and a couple of 'Base' isolation boards which I keep convincing myself will be useful some day.
Note to self: Do an attic stocktake.

I can see a nice used Hi-Fi shop opening soon. Run by a grumpy world weary git S.

Apart from a couple of pairs of interconnects and an FX preamp I don't have anything lying around unused. Aren't I the lucky one?

Theirs was a period from 2003-2013 when this was the norm. These shots were taken in 2013 before I went abroad. I couldn't live like that now. Looks like you burgled a shop S.

I even have pics of stuff I don't even recall owning. I just found a pic of an MF A370 sat on my lounge carpet and it's wired up! I know my mate has had a few but I really don't remember taking one off him. Guess I must have though. I probably swapped something for it, tested it and ebayed it same day. Large items often had to go to make space.

Loads of stuff but not as much as you once had Andrew! Most I'll never use or sell... I'm "weird" in that the aesthetics of gear are of virtually zero importance to me and so I won't knock say 50% of the price of something I'm selling, which is in A1 working condition and maybe has had a basic service by myself, just cause there is a ding or a scratch in the cabinet or whatever!

If I could have one item back from those pics it would be the rack. Best one I’ve ever had. If you look closely you can see the Puresound A30 recently discussed bottom right. The amp next to it was an Apollon Apache EL34 amp. I didn’t rate that either tbh.

I have nothing I don't use. I don't keep what I don't need.

I've got too much of everything as I hoard too much. At some point, there'll be a 'sale' but little of it is forum-desirable...
Question for westie please - In the electronics pictures, along with the krell 50, there's what looks like a Krell preamp (brushed front and three identical knobs). Was it a PAM something-or-other and can you remember your thoughts on it?

It absolutely trounced both the ARC preamps in the pic (LS1 and LS3). Probably the best preamp I’ve owned.
