You were lucky. Yer finishing apart from once was shite. I'll give you five hundred quid and a bus pass for the camel washer. Lucky? Apart from 20minutes in the 1st half and one chance in the second, they never looked like they'd beat us. We should have had 4 at least. We're not playing our best and still winning so I'm happy. If this team does click into gear, they'll beat anyone.

Congrats, Watford. Absolutely humiliated Man Utd. Nice to see Could have done with a few Man U legs broken and a few red cards before we meet em next week. We'll probably get the fallout 😟 ONice to see Son get his come uppance aswell against Chelsea. That lad needs to be brought down a peg or two.

What a game to start the weekend off with. Wolverhampton Wanderers Vs Man City was superb.
Wolves are a really decent team and I must admit that I am a little worried about them for Sunday.
VVD bossed Traore in the last game but he looks a player transformed. Big Game.

EVE V NEW
The Ancelotti effect seems to be in full swing. Been a good game so far but Newcastle haven't been great.

Off to the slaughter in an hour. The way we're playing it could be a record away win for the Red Devils. 🥴 Nah ... our defense is the only thing we have going for us. Should be able to hold them to three nil I reckon.

I'm watching the game and was incensed at that decision Harrison. His feet were clearly onside, players don't run with their arms at their sides. He did not gain any advantage and I thought that was what the off side rule was all about.

Great night out ! Played to an inch of their lives tonight against a huge rich football empire. One mistake led to goal 1 , and goal 2 came because we threw everything forward all through the 2nd half. Proud of them tonight. Wish they'd attack like that every game. Mike Dean is still a coward ref though that gives definite advantage to the big teams. Always has and I suppose always will. Completely spineless .

Good to see The Hun Rangers narrow The Tims Celtics lead to two points, it should be a good run in to end of season.

Being a Liverpool fan amongst Wolves fans was a bit of a strain yesterday to be honest.
The refereeing was atrocious in the game but the VAR decision for both the LFC goal and the Offside against Otto were both correct.
I really don't see the outrage about it. We had a Firmino goal disallowed because his armpit was offside!!
I also think it has enhanced the aspect of watching the game from a different perspective. I now wait for the VAR check and enjoy seeing them dissect the goal, the play before hand and any infringement. It's fascinating to me.
And again, all this nonsense about a VVD hand ball in the build up to LFCs goal? Ok, the ball flicks up, he raises his arms to avoid contact, yet there still is very minimal contact. Does that make it handball now? As far as I understand, it doesn't.
Where the handball falls down is that is given in the box on EVERY occasion and not given anywhere else on the pitch.
Like the Man city goal vs wolves, when Mahrez was trod on and a Pen awarded. WWFC fans screaming blue murder but in every other incident that's a foul, so the fact VAR spotted it can only be the right decision.
What happened is that the game became too complicated overnight. Too many rule changes and too much upheaval all in one go. The game was very simple and easier to understand. Now, it's like a different sport.
Get the ref to the monitor for incidents like the Man City pen, the Lallana handball etc and let the fans see the ref on the pitch is refereeing the game. Offside is offside. I like it.

How on earth could the Wovles player be off-side? This arm/finger rule is absolutely stupid, it should be where his feet are. If your arm is outstretched are you gaining an advantage, which is what the rule is all about. The Liverpool goal was dis-allowed by the ref and that decision should have stood, could anyone definitely say 100% the ball did not touch Lalana's arm.

It was supposed to be for clear and definite error. The other important issue is that it's making referees lazy ! They simply blow and wait. The ruling on offside up to VAR was to give the attacking player the advantage on minimal offside infringement. Now it obviously isn't. Live , when you are a goal down in an important and you score , the excitement is ruined because the moment of elation and the thrill of the all important equalizer is gone. The ecstatic and spontaneous jumping up and down as the ball hits the net is now becoming a simple prelude to a deciding autopsy. And that's not why we stand wet and cold to watch football.

The Liverpool goal was dis-allowed by the ref and that decision should have stood, could anyone definitely say 100% the ball did not touch Lalana's arm. It was Otto's left foot that was offside. That's what they said in-game. A hand can't be offside because it cannot be used in the game. That was the referees brief at the start of the season. If they have disallowed a goal because his hand was offside, I would side with the Wolves fans but it was clear from the VAR review they put on screen that they were checking his foot, which was offside. As for Lallana, it was a great touch from the front of the shoulder and that's never been classed as a hand ball. I know I am an LFC fan but WWFC are as much my team too and had it been a handball, I would have said so. I do think there has been a long held conspiracy theory where big clubs get the decisions but I have to say, Aston Villa got almost every decision against us at their place and we've had the same amount of close calls against us too. VAR is good, just not how they are using it and communicating it to the fans

@engine
It was supposed to be for clear and definite error.
Yes, Like when a ref disallows a perfectly good goal when he believed it was handball, when it wasn't. That's a clear and obvious mistake and was correctly overturned. It's not about whether he could or couldn't see it. He got the decision wrong, it's a mistake, it was overturned and that's exactly what they said they would do
The other important issue is that it's making referees lazy !
They simply blow and wait.
But they shouldn't blow up at all. According to the Premier League and the FA, the referee or Linesperson should WAIT if they are unsure. There was no way for the ref to be 100% sure Lallana handled the ball. he should have let play continue and let the VAR do it's job. Luckily he blew too late as the ball was already in the net or that goal couldn't have stood. The ruling on offside up to VAR was to give the attacking player the advantage on minimal offside infringement.
Now it obviously isn't.
Absolutely, as the margin for error is now obsolete. There is no need for marginal allowance because VAR has the capability to clearly decide whether you were offside or not. That's what we wanted. Imagine being up in a game, only to drop points for an offside decision that wasn't given. Costing you a place in the league or a Title win. We all went ape Sh#t about it.
Now it's being done with a greater degree of accuracy, everyone is going ape Sh#t. Remember, we are not complaining that they are getting it wrong, only that it's "marginal"
Show an example of where someone was wrongly given offside. They can't, only that its marginal. Trouble is, you cannot have "allowances" as that becomes opinion and then you get greater inconsistency. Yes, it's clinical but it was always going to be that way.
Like, when you are a goal down in an important and you score , the excitement is ruined because the moment of elation and the thrill of the all important equalizer is gone. The ecstatic and spontaneous jumping up and down as the ball hits the net is now becoming a simple prelude to a deciding autopsy. And that's not why we stand wet and cold to watch football.
This is the hardest part to fix. There was always going to be a sacrifice for absolute accuracy, like in hifi. 9/10 its usually musicality (read distortion), well here its euphoria.
Football was Valves and Vinyl,
Now it's Class D amps and DACs [/quote]
