There is a lot of lucky bands out there that have had a very good innings. Im mainly referring to bands like 30/40+ years. You are more than likely attracted to their sound at a certain point in ones career, but like fashion, styles change. It is ever so easy to mention a band where another person will know them from a poor period, automatically dissing them. I see this a lot.
Adding to that a fan [Fanatic] will never see anything wrong spoke about their treasured fav band, everything will be brilliant in their eyes.. This is quite clearly cobblers.

There are only a few bands that have that kind of longevity but you're right, there might just be a point in time where most bands makes an enjoyable album!
Lemos, Sticky Fingers by the Stones was easily their best work in my eyes.

It is Jagger I just want to kick him in the balls the prancing Twit. Kieth Richards is cool, I loved his book.

The only band I like who made more than a handful of albums but never made a bad one is Steely Dan.
