I'm definitely going through an EM phase - and it's all this man's fault... Maybe my state of mind right now as there's much stress to ponder - I can certainly 'fall into' this one...

Bloody 'ell jammy, that cleared the cobwebs out
You can't be serious playing this stuff on LS3/5A's? This band demands a HUGE LOUD speaker...

Sigh...........😌
Well the wee boxes are never gonna cave yer chest cavity in with bass slam. And burst yer eardrums on the SPL front.
I mean I listen to music in a living room FFS not a concert hall. And my Volume is set for a comfortable listen as I suspect most other folks are (Thrash metal heads and the deaf excused).
But they do play Rock like any other genre, exceedingly well.
As said elsewhere im still waiting for my STA to arrive, apparently they are a match made in heaven with LS3/5A's as well as ESL's can't wait.

Just having a late night listen to Warren Zevon. He's new to me but seems pretty decent.

Can't help it. Reminiscing about old IMF's brought this up - side 2 please 19:30 in - well, most of it... TLS80mk2's, LP12/G707/Supex/Bolt-up naim 12s/naps250 and TLS80mk2's still with KEF drivers...

I agree, the whole album is a stunner and so much more alive and dynamic than the studio version.
My favourite tracks are Perfect Sense and Amused To Death.

Tasmin Archer, 'Great Expectations'. Found it while I was having a rummage through my CD's, I'd forgotten I had a copy. Nice!
