Decided that it is time to work on my jukebox that has just been used as a bluetooth speaker and giant light for too long. One of the many issues I have is the turntable is running at the wrong speed, between 35 and 37 RPM, and it randomly moves between these speeds! Must be the motor I decided, so went about stripping it down with the thought of giving it a good clean, check bearings, lubricate and reassemble. Thought some might like to see what a 'real' turntable motor looks like... its like something out of a giant piece of machinery!! And on the inside it is looking like it has seen some life!! After a good clean up and reassembly it is back in action and the turntable is running at 44.8 RPM, close enough for me.

Next job will be replacing a couple of pots. Main volume and one on the XO that allows setting the XO frequency to suit the room.
