Why are Snow Patrol recordings so bad technically? A track was just played on the radio and even then I could tell the quality was shite.
We have a few CD's, when they get busy they just turn to mush, horrible mush. I bought one Snow Patrol CD from a charity shop and the quality was so bad I took it back to another charity shop, I just couldn't listen to it. God know what software was used for recording, or what halucigenics the recording engineer(s) was on.
I can't think of worse recorded music.

If you must get something made this century, stick to stuff radio stations wouldn't bother with, and you should be ok. Having said that, I have quite a few albums which I 'discovered' on Jools Holland, where they sounded great. And are now in the "what was I thinking" section of my collection.
We have a Snow Patrol CD (Anita's actually), but to give you an appraisal of the SQ, I would have to play it, and I just can't bring myself to do that.

Thats the problem, the music maybe great but the production is seriously dire and it just puts a whole damper on the lsitening sesssion imho
