I know. Got to be the best female rock vocalist I've heard in years. Or ever, come to that.

Sounds like Christina Aguilera.
Which is a fairly major complement to be fair.

I think Amy Lee from Evanescence is a better rock vocalist.

Sorry macca , pop rock, the worst kind. It's heavy rock mate, but I didn't think it would be your sort of thing. Queen is pop rock.

They've had quite a lot of attention from radio station Planet Rock. A mate of mine is a die-hard rock fan (though these days is more inclined to be seeing Aerosmith in Vegas than a local band in the pub), and he has Planet Rock on his work radio all the time. I'll ask him what he thinks of them. But fwiw I like them.
I see them variously described as country rock, blues rock, southern rock. i suppose they might be all of those things.

I'd say they're 'studio rock' . . . .
Harder than 'pop-rock' but not exactly TV's out the window, drumkit destroying stuff.
More Joan Jett than Armatrading for sure so she's definitely in the 'rock' catagory.

I have watched it again.
Meh…
Lizzy Hale also has nothing to worry about, in my opinion.

It's a kind of tame Pretty Reckless.
Lzzy Hale is on a different, and heavier, and grittier, and far more interesting planet.
4/10

I'd say they're 'studio rock' . . . . That's a new one on me but I can go with it. Yeah I'll qualify that by saying it's not pop or indeed hard rock, but rock musicians playing in a studio. Not bad but maybe lacks a little authenticity?

You'd be amazed what I get round to listening to on headphones in the nightwatches when my insomnia kicks in. Heavy metal, harsh vocals, symphonic rock. Try some Lzzy Hale

It just doesn't feel authentic....
I've listened a couple of times and it's like they have picked a modulator setting on the guitar amps and written a song around it. I may not be doing them justice but I dont feel the Rock/metal from them.
If I venture off into metal territory, it's usually QOTSA, Megadeath, Early Metallica, SOAD, Iron Maiden.....etc.
Authentic.

Yeah, listened to both , competent but formulaic. Not very original.
