I know what the bottom one is but not a clue about the top one. Something tells me I’ve seen one a long time ago.

Nice choice. Cheap Routers are a bad idea if you expect a quality finish.

I'm on a strict 'no buy' rule at the moment. The last thing I bought (apart from food, obvs) was a paperback from the 50p box outside our local charity shop. I'll probably give it back to them once I've read it.

Had a new pair of Reeboks last week. Air cushion. Nice. Otherwise not bought owt non-musical related for ages. Strictly necessity only. Only bought the trainers because my old ones started giving way. Don't buy gear you don't need is my motto. (except for hi-fi ofc).

I have a couple of laptops sat redundant and work give me a Surface Pro regularly, but I hate anything Microsoft and I use IPad for almost everything. Apple computers are too expensive for what they are, otherwise I might have got one, but is suspect it would be an ornament.

When I’m hassled and have very little free time to enjoy stuff, I buy loads of things I don’t need. I don’t think I’m alone.

Got my laptop for £200 - reconditioned but the model was almost a grand new. Should last 5 years or so, so that's £40 a year. Don't see the point of paying more.

My Latest Surface Pro is the newest model. The previous one was only given to me new in December. It had virtually stopped working on Excel and was temperamental on Explorer and Outlook. Task Manager also failed to work.
The new one is a bit better but it still won’t cope with having multiple excel templates open. I get a white screen and everything locks up. Tech support say it’s a rendering issue due to a Microsoft laptop being unable to deal with a Microsoft programme. Says it all. Loads of other Surface Pro users are getting the same nonsense.

there comes a time when you cant buy anything more. we are pretty close to having everything we ever wanted...anyway things dont make you happy long termly...in fact the more things you have in ya life just means more problems and work. when we retire we only want a little 1 bedroom house..has to be deep in the woods though
