unless you want to go wireless, I'd suggest you get a pair of active speakers and connect them directly to your laptop. In theory that magic box will act as both DAC and amp, but that's a lot of stuff in a teeny box, and when your laptop will have it's own DAC that's probably as good or better, you may as well save on boxes.

I kinda like the TPA3116 element as Geoff’s recommended Breeze Audio amp as been so good. At the price I may as well try one. I’d planned to use passive speakers as I have t heard any decent cheap actives. I might either use something like Elas or build some more Cubes.
