No, it won't have the vishay resistors for the riaa, and a few parts for the psu and Calvin's aren't ordered yet.

After yesterday's introduction to the Paradise phonostage, I felt it was only sensible to buy the last remaining pcbs over on DIYaudio
Money is sent.....now we wait

Not sure how I'm going to finance this build just yet, but I thought if I had the boards, I could worry about that part later

Well that's what i thought, as I have not seen boards available before and likely won't again. At least if you have them you can start the build at a time that suits you.
I have a couple of things to finish before starting it anyhow so I'm in no rush and the boards won't go anywhere in the meantime. If it ends up I can't do it for some reason they will always sell on easily enough. So no loss anywhere.

I know a couple of people were talking about relaying the PCB as they had a few issues with the layout. I don't know what they were but i suspect it may be a closed shop type of thing. Invite only, if you catch my drift.

Jesus these are like buses. The last one isnt out of the gate yet and next one is already lined up.

Tx vishays for the riaa. Calvin buffers for the output stage. Main boards ready for the riaa resistors to go in. More progress tomorrow.

I'm intrigued by the Calvin output buffer.
Can it be used for 'normal' buffering duties (as an active line stage)? I've looked around but too damned tired to make much sense of it..

Yes it can be used standalone, it requires +/- 18v c 100mA

Looks bang tidy but I've just had to gut it of transistors and build a new set of parts from a recent purchase. Thankfully these were bob on, so I'm going to stock up.

All fitted and on soak.
160mA of wandering offset currently before the servo, that'll die down over a few days as the caps form and end up at the usual sub 1mv level.

Main boards all finished, fully soaked measuring and sounding epic. I'd happily swap this one for mine. I certainly need to update my own with the last few vishay naked foils in the signal path.

Spotfire wire? I did this with my preamp. I had Yannis Tome do something similar for me.
