Hi Simon,
It's good to see you here. I'm glad you took up the invite.
Feel free to start a Paradise thread, build thread, basically anything you'd like. I enjoyed your build threads and look forward to seeing them here.
No trade accounts here, just start a thread if you have something in the pipeline.
Enjoy!
Oliver.

Looking forward to it. I'm still on the fence about the Paradise, probably because I haven't heard one. 2019's the year to hear one.

Ive not done much with the soldering iron for a month or so, been kitesurfing and cycling as much as my dodgy knee will allow and doing a bunch of web work for a couple of clients.
I had a pcb delivery last week, a bunch of chip amp psu boards.
I'm currently running each of my bridged mod86p monos off a single psu board, +/- rails shared across two stereo chips per monoblock. I built them with 400va traffos and always intended to double up on the psu boards as I have traffo VA to spare.
So the plan is fit another psu board to each chassis, so each amp board gets its own psu board. That'll mean each monoblock has 88,000uF of psu capacitance. I figure this should help solidify the bass when I turn the wick up. Fitting should be easy they'll just stack up on the existing psu board.
Might do summit, might do nowt. Gotta be worth a throw for £70 all in.

I can't imagine all this uncertainty is helping at all.

I'm still looking, lizzies back at school this week, so I'll start rattling applications off now. I've plenty on though, two website rebuilds with ongoing content management service and I have a web design company who specialise in finance stuff kicking my tyres as they want to offer an SEO service to their clients but don't have the skillset in house, so that could be regular work. I'm not hurting yet.
I'm not sure what the psu will deliver, If it firms up the low end a bit at full tilt I'll be happy. Certainly as it stands 44000uf per mono chassis is on the light side. As each chip will be getting its own supply rather than just doubling the size of the caps, or adding them in series there should be benefits in reduced crosstalk between the sides of the output in each chassis.
It cant hurt.

Ill shoot the boards tomorrow. Not much to see once fitted as they'll sit directly on top of the originals.
